Welcome to the new Pi Kappa Phi Website!

Welcome

On behalf of the Omega Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our official website. Boasting one of the finest locations of fraternities on Purdue University’s campus, we are located on Grant Street across the from Grissom Hall and are an incredibly short walk to nearly every academic resource offered by Purdue - from classes to libraries and computer labs.

Since being chartered at Purdue in 1922, Omega Chapter has become known for its balance and leadership on the University’s campus. Our fraternity is based on the pillars of Character, Leadership, Academics, Service, and Sportsmanship. We are men of CLASS and Leaders by Choice. Members of the chapter are expected to become involved in at least one other organization outside of Pi Kappa Phi, and many hold leadership positions within them. The fraternity has also seen success on the athletic field, placing in the Top 3 in intramurals for the past three years. We are consistently above the all-fraternity average in terms of GPA and nearly half of our members achieved at least a 3.0 last semester, with six men receiving a perfect 4.0.

In 1977, Pi Kappa Phi created Push America, an outreach program to raise awareness for people with disabilities, and in the process became the first fraternity in the country to start its own philanthropic organization. We are consistently one of the top-fundraising fraternities at Purdue and within Pi Kappa Phi and host several events to benefit Push each year. The chapter has built three wheelchair ramps in the past year and a half for local residents in partnership with Push America and one of our members rode a bicycle across the country last summer in an event called the Journey of Hope to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities.

The fraternity exists to build better men, prepare them to become productive members of society, and in the process create friendships that will last a lifetime. One of the ideals that set Pi Kappa Phi apart from other fraternities is the strength of the brotherhood and the support members give to each other. During intramural contests, it is commonplace to see a sideline filled with Pi Kapps cheering on their brothers.

This site exists to give you greater access to any information you need about our brotherhood, house, philanthropies, history, and more. Please take some time to navigate the site using the links to the left and feel free to contact us with any questions that may arise.

Sincerely,
Steve Holtsclaw, Archon
